What is QRIS?
Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS), commonly pronounced KRIS, is the unification of various QR codes from different Payment System Service Providers (PJSP) using a single standardized QR Code. QRIS was developed by the payment system industry together with Bank Indonesia to make QR Code transactions easier, faster, and more secure.

Benefits of QRIS
• Fast and modern
• No more hassle of carrying cash
• No need to worry about which QR code to scan
• Secure, as all QRIS providers are licensed and supervised by Bank Indonesia

Requirements
The QRIS feature is available through Bank Mestika’s Digital Banking services.

Additional Information
Customers are not charged any fees for using Bank Mestika QRIS to make payments at merchants.

Product Risks

  • Risk of misuse of digital banking services, PINs, and/or passwords.
  • Weak internet connection or other technical issues may delay or fail QRIS transactions.
  • QRIS relies on technology and connectivity — system or technical disruptions may hinder the ability to complete transactions.
  • Not all merchants or service providers may support QRIS or compatible systems, which may cause difficulties in making transactions at certain locations.
